It breaks my heart a little how careful they are with each other. In a way, it's really sweet and considerate of them for each other, bu in another, I just wish that they could be effortlessly close.

I feel a lot of sympathy for Orlando when he tell Elijah that a lot of things are easier than you thought. He's so gentle with Lij and so tenderly just nudging him in the right direction, and trying to do that without being condescending or heavy-handed. It's got to be so frustrating for him! I see the same thing with my mom. She tries so hard to be encouraging, but sometimes it's hard not to resent her. I hope Elijah is able to avoid that with Orli and just see how much Orlando loves him and wants him to be happy.
