I'll always be envious of your descriptions. You have beautiful imagery; you set up a scene brilliantly, and you are able to get inside a person's head better than almost anybody else I know. I have always enjoyed that about your writing.
I think that writing about OCD, or any kind of disorder, really, can be very tricky because it entails a lot of research to make sure it's accurate. Then there's the issue of tailoring your character to fit it. Elijah is quiet and withdrawn, almost fragile, and I think that is the perfect way to portray him.
The interaction with Orlando and Elijah was natural and smooth. I enjoyed it very much.
My heart really breaks for Elijah; he really needs to know that he's not crazy.
